Spyridon Vasdekis

Spyrídon Vasdékis ( Greek Σπυρίδων Βασδέκης ; born January 23, 1970 in Volos ) is a former Greek long jumper .

At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, ​​he was eliminated from qualification. In 1993 he won the Mediterranean Games and was tenth at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart . At the 1995 World Championships , he was eliminated without a valid attempt.

In 1996 he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Stockholm , but did not get beyond the preliminary round at the Olympic Games in Atlanta again. In 1997 he finished eighth at the World Indoor Championships in Paris .

His sister Olga Vasdeki was successful as a triple jumper.
