The Squires Glacier is a glacier of the Palmerland in the south of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows between the Playfair Mountains and the Hutton Mountains in an east-northeast direction to the Swann Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Peter L. Squires, a glaciologist at Byrd Station in the Antarctic summer months of 1965 / 1966.
