Stéphane Noro (born November 22, 1979 in Lille ) is a former French football player.

Career

Stéphane Noro played for Lille OSC when he was young . In 1996 he was pulled up from the amateur team to the professional team. There he could not prevail, which is why he went to Stade Reims in 2000 . After just one more year, he went to CS Sedan . There he was able to assert himself. In the second half of the 2003/04 season he played on loan at FC Metz . In the 2004/05 season you could reach the final of the French Cup as a second division team. In the final against the favorite AJ Auxerre , Noro scored the 1-1 goal in the 64th minute. After seeing each other in extra time, they lost the final in stoppage time with a goal from Bonaventure Kalou 1: 2. In 2007 he moved to ES Troyes AC . But after just another year he went to AC Le Havre . In September 2010 he dissolved his contract there. After a long period without a club, he went to Racing Strasbourg during the winter break of the 2010/11 season , in the third-rate Championnat de France National . After half a year in which Racing Strasbourg missed the direct return to Ligue 2, Noro moved abroad and hired the Cypriot first division club Apollon Limassol . From 2012 to 2014 he returned to Racing Strasbourg and ended his career there in 2014.
