The Stêr Goanez is a river in France that runs in the Finistère department in the Brittany region . It rises on the municipal boundary of Loqueffret and Plonévez-du-Faou , forms the border to the Armorique Regional Nature Park in its upper reaches , drains generally south to southwest through a sparsely populated area in the Cornouaille landscape and flows after 24 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Lennon and Châteauneuf-du-Faou as a right tributary into the Aulne , which in this area is part of the Canal de Nantes à Brest .
