Stöcken is a district of the city of Rösrath in the Rhein-Berg district near Cologne.

Location and description

The district is located southeast of Hope Valley at an exposed altitude. It has grown naturally and is mainly characterized by residential use. While the town center has a closed building structure, the outskirts are partially undefined.

District road 23 runs south of Stöcken and connects the districts with Eigen in the east and Hofferhof in the west. In the district itself there are three streets, Stöcker Weg and Stöcker Garten.

history

In a topographical dictionary of the State of Prussia, the district was referred to as a peasantry, which belonged to the Mülheim am Rhein district in the Rhine Province and in which 40 residents lived.
