The Catholic parish church of St-André in Val-Couesnon , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was originally built in the 12th century and rebuilt in the 16th century. The church consecrated to the Apostle Andrew was built for the priory of the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Florent near Saumur .

architecture

Large parts of the nave , the transept and the northern absidiole have been preserved from the Romanesque hall building . From the 16th century, renovations took place.

The upper part of the bell tower dates from 1760. The northern chapel was built in the 19th and 20th centuries. Century erected.

Leaded glass window

The leaded glass windows were made by Noël Lavergne in the 1870s.

organ

The organ was created in 1893 by the organ builder Louis Debierre in Nantes .
