The Catholic Church of St-Jean-Baptiste in Bonneville, a district of the French community Bonneville-et-Saint-Avit-de-Fumadières in the Dordogne department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region , was originally built in the 13th century. The church has been a protected architectural monument ( Monument historique ) since 1943 .

The parish church , long the Order of Malta was subordinate, is largely of dry stone erected Gothic building of the 13th century whose portal facade was redone in the 16th century. The bell tower on the north side was added in the 18th century. The windowless hall is covered by a rib vault . The polygonal apse , illuminated by five windows , is vaulted by a ribbed dome . The portal on the west side is crowned by a fronton and adorned by two medallions on the side .
