The Roman Catholic fortified church of St-Quentin is located in Scy-Chazelles in the arrondissement of Metz in the Moselle department in France . The church has been classified as a monument ( Monument historique ) since 1930 .

history

The Church of St-Quentin was built around 1120. In the course of the 12th century the choir tower was added to the east . In 1409 it was finally expanded into a fortified church. The nave has a barrel vault . A Gothic triumphal arch opens to the choir bay, which closes in the east with a semicircular apse. The triple window was broken into the Romanesque apse in Gothic times.

In the choir is the grave of the politician Robert Schuman, who died in 1963 .
