Saint-Rémi is a Roman Catholic church building in Itterswiller ( department Bas-Rhin ) in the region of Alsace . The church has been on the French Heritage Register since 1988 and belongs to the Archdiocese of Strasbourg .

Building history and description

The Saint-Rémi church goes back to a previous Romanesque building with a choir tower , of which the three lower floors from the second half of the 12th century have been preserved, in which there are frescoes from the 14th century. The nave dates from 1777, the neo-Romanesque upper floors of the tower were added in 1919.
