The Catholic Chapel of St-Sixte in Eygalières , a French commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region , was built in the 12th century. The chapel , which is located outside the village, has been a protected architectural monument ( Monument historique ) since 1971 .

history

The chapel was probably built over an ancient sanctuary. After the porch, the nave joins, which is supported by mighty buttresses . The Espadaña sitting on the roof has had a bell again for a few years and has been provided with a wrought iron cross.
