The St. Anne's chapel is located in the district of the district Krobitz the community Weira in Saale-Orla in Thuringia .

history

The Romanesque manor church is externally quite well preserved, but in need of renovation inside. Restored from 1610 to 1611, it was hardly used.

The altarpiece is destroyed. The font is still in the building, as is the bell from 1619 from Erfurt . There was no organ .

On 24./25. In June 2017 the chapel was reopened after extensive restoration work - in the middle there is now a gas-powered organ, which was installed by Carsten Nicolai with its own piece of music for the "organ" project .
