Krobitz is a district of the municipality Weira , which is a municipality in the administrative community of Oppurg in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

Krobitz is located north of Weira a few hundred meters from the state road 281 from Gera to Saalfeld . The corridors of the places Krobitz and Weira lie on the northern roof of the south-east Thuringian slate mountains in the Orlasenke . Nearby is located the conservation area Döbritzer Switzerland with its prehistoric caves.
