St. Anthony is a city in Fremont County in the US state of Idaho in the United States . The population was 3,342 in the 2000 census .

According to the United States Census Bureau , the city has a total area of 3.4 km² , 0.76% of which is water.
Demographics
According to the 2000 census, 3,342 people lived here; 1,091 households and 819 families were counted. The population density was 993 inhabitants per km². 1,218 residential units were recorded. The racial the population was composed of 89.1% White, 0.2% African American, 0.7% Native American, 0.7% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, and 7.1% other ethnic groups; 2.2% said they came from more than one ethnic group. 15.4% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
Of the 1,091 households, 40.1% had children or adolescents living with them. 59.9% were married couples living together, 11.5% were a single mother, and 24.9% were non-families. 22.1% were single households and 10.1% had someone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.94 and the average family size was 3.47.
The population was divided into 33.2% under 18 years of age, 10.1% from 18 to 24 years of age, 26.8% from 25 to 44 years of age, 18.5% from 45 to 64 years of age and 11.4% from 65 years of age or older. The mean age ( median ) was 30 years. For every 100 females there were 107.6 males and for every 100 females aged 18 and over there were 109.8 males.
The median income for a household (median) was 31 023 US $ , and the median income for a family $ 37,995. Males had a median income of $ 26,625 and females $ 22,734.
