history

architecture

The first church is still there today as a simple building. It has a flat wooden ceiling and no tower.

In the nave there is a round-arched triumphal arch . Through him is the access to the choir . The arch rests on a simple striker plate that rests on high cornices . The Romanesque apse of the choir was demolished in the 14th century. For this purpose, a simple, elongated Gothic choir with a polygonal ending on three sides was built in 1374 . It has lancet windows and two larger tracery windows . These were installed later. On the north wall of the choir is a polygonal protruding, late Gothic sacrament shrine. But in the north he is stepping back. On the north wall is a Romanesque portal with a carved inscription, which names Plebanus, the people priest , Heinrich von Lucka and the year 1347.

Further structural measures

At the end of the 17th century the nave received pointed arch windows. Galleries were added to the walls of the ship . In the north the church was two-story. Another repair took place in 1881. The interior was renovated from 1978 to 1981.
