St. Bartholomew (Isselburg)
The Catholic parish church of St. Bartholomew is a listed church building on the Münsterdeich in Isselburg in the Borken district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It is dedicated to Saint Bartholomew .
History and architecture
The heavily damaged neo-Gothic brick building was rebuilt from 1877 to 1879. Facilities include the figures of Saints John and Mary oak from a Lower Rhine crucifixion group dating back to 1500. The figures are not taken . The crucifix is probably from the 16th century.
organ
The organ was created by an unknown builder and expanded in 1993 by the organ building company Romanus Seifert (Kevelaer). The instrument has 14 registers on two manuals and a pedal . The playing and stop actions are electric.
