The Roman Catholic branch church of St. Blasius in Hagen , a district of Riegsee in the Upper Bavarian district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen , is part of the Murnau parish community and belongs to the Benediktbeuern deanery of the Augsburg diocese . The church at Am Kirchplatz 6 is a listed building .

history

The late Romanesque parts of the tower suggest that it was built around the time when the town of Hagen was first mentioned: 1177. Today's church building is largely a new building from 1734.

Description and equipment

St. Blaise from the west

The late Romanesque church tower with a gable roof is connected to the south of the east- facing baroque hall church . The late Gothic choir has moved in a little.

The furnishings can be classified in the Jesuit baroque.

The church is surrounded by a plastered cemetery wall with sloped natural stone supports , which dates from the 17th or 18th century.
