St. Eligius (Schlausenbach)
The Catholic branch church of St. Eligius in Schlausenbach , a district of the local community Auw near Prüm in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate , was probably built in 1658. The baroque church on the main street is a protected cultural monument .
The narrow and long-proportioned hall building with a three-sided choir closure is covered by a flat wooden barrel. The lintel of the entrance at the west end of the south side dates back to 1691.
The baroque columned altar with many figures of saints was made by Caspar Helfen from Prüm in 1713 according to an inscription on the back .
