Emmeram Church

The St. Emmeram Church is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Alesheim , a community in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . The church, consecrated to the Emmeram of Regensburg , belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran deanery in Weißenburg in Bavaria and is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments under monument number D-5-77-113-1 . The postal address is Kirchengasse 20 .

The church is located in the center of the village at a height of 427 meters above  sea ​​level . The choir tower church was expanded and baroque in the 18th century. The upper floor of the tower was built in 1738 and has a domed roof with a lantern . The nave is from 1540.
