From the medieval church, which was already consecrated to Saint George , the steeple from around 1300 is still preserved. On July 3, 1896, the nave burned to the ground. An old stone, now installed above the door, in the side of the nave with the inscription “Pax intrantibus, salus exeuntibus” (you may bring peace in and take salvation with you) bears the year 1713.

The interior was redesigned in an avant-garde style in 1983 . Under the West empore one was community room installed. The pneumatic organ can be used again after a repair in 2010.
