history
The church was built in 1960 and consecrated on October 15, 1961. The bells consecration of the four bronze bells made in the Hessian sense and now in the tower, which replaced two discarded cast steel bells, took place on June 16, 1963. Twelve years after inauguration, the church received an organ that was adapted to the interior . A parish hall, two rectories and a kindergarten are adjacent to the church .
Furnishing
In addition to the organ, the church has an altar in the interior , in front of which, when looking towards the entrance, there is a baptismal font on the right and a lectern on the left. In addition, a ceramic cross hangs centrally above the altar, showing the crucified Jesus in a blessing pose. The pulpit is decorated with ceramic tiles and shows the symbols of the four evangelists . At the top on the sides of the nave there are colored windows showing motifs from the story of the Passion , Pentecost and the Revelation of John .
Bells
The four bells, cast by the Rincker company from Sinn , have the sound tones a, b, c and d. Each of the bells bears a coat of arms and a word from the Bible. In doing so, they recall the expulsion of the East Germans as a result of the Second World War and give it a Christian interpretation:
-
Bell I :
- Coat of arms of Lower Saxony and Psalm 103.2 LUT
-
Bell II :
- Coat of arms of Pomerania and Psalm 37.5 LUT
-
Bell III :
- Coats of arms of East and West Prussia and Hebrews 13:14 LUT
- Bell IV :
