St. Leonhard

The Catholic Church of St. Leonhard in Nussdorf am Inn is a cemetery church on the southwestern outskirts.

history

The church, adorned by six altars, was visited by pilgrims from Endorf to Weihenlinden. In 1754, after a devastating fire, today's church was built and furnished in the Rococo style. The Scapular Brotherhood was founded around 1650 and had thousands of members in the 19th century. The Scapular Festival is traditionally celebrated on the Sunday after July 19th, with the historic organ being used. The Leonhardiritt, which has been documented since the 15th century, is held on November 6th.

Exterior

The spire, which was renewed according to the Gothic model, was renovated in 1987.
