History and description of the building

The chapel was built in 1687 and renovated in 1912. It consists of a single nave nave with a flat ceiling over a serrated cornice. The retracted choir with cap vaults adjoins the nave . The choir has a window axis and is closed on three sides after this. Both the windows in the choir and in the nave are arched and drawn in on both sides. The arched entrance to the chapel is on the west side. This leads through a modern sign made of wood . Inside there is a gallery on the west side . There is a roof turret above the entrance .

Interior

The altar of the chapel was created around 1687 and is similar to the altar in the St. Gallus chapel in Grasgrub. An inscription on the altar mentions the year 1834 in which the altar was redesigned. The cafeteria is bricked. In front of the cafeteria there is a painted predella with tendrils and the Virgin Mary on the front and St. Magnus and St. Anthony and on the reverse a picture of the fasting with Christ on the pillar of the scourge. The altar sheet, labeled Johann Becherer 1834 , is flanked by columns with angel heads and fruit hangings. The Mother of God is shown above the village of community ridge. Above in the altar extract there is a Pietà . Wooden figures of Saints Anthony and Magnus are placed on the side of the altar on volute consoles under acanthus tendrils. There are also six putti on the altar. The clothed baby Jesus to the north of the choir arch dates from the late 18th century . Above this is a rural painting of the 14 helpers in need . Opposite on the southern side is the figure of a clothed Mother of God in a wooden shrine.
