St. Mauritius (Oberdiebach)
The Protestant parish church of St. Mauritius is a listed church building in Oberdiebach .
Since 2002 the parish church of St. Mauritius has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley .
history
The three-aisled Gothic hall church was built in the 14th century and rebuilt in 1774 and 1781. The building has a low tower tower. A short choir , consisting of five sides of an octagon, adjoins the hall. Existing wall paintings in the choir and on the ceilings date from the time the church was built. A Christ enthroned , the wise virgins, various saints and the remains of the Last Judgment are depicted.

- The cemetery belonging to the church is equipped with late medieval fortifications
