The Filialkirche St. Peter and Paul is the Roman Catholic village church of the district of Unterkienberg in the municipality of Allershausen in Upper Bavaria . It is the oldest church building in the parish of Allershausen. The church patrons are the two apostles Simon Peter and Paul .
The origin of the building has not been documented. A church consecrated by the Freising Bishop Hitto in 820 is assumed to be either the church in Unterkienberg or the building in Walterskirchen.
The church's cemetery was not built until after 1315, as the church is still listed without one in the Conradin register .
During a comprehensive restoration in 1856, the church received three new altars. The main altar shows the patron saint of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising , St. Korbinian . The two side altars are decorated with figures of the apostles Simon Peter and Paul.
