St. Thomas was a Roman Catholic church in Trais-Horloff , a district of Hungen in the central Hessian district of Gießen .

In the 1950s, a maintenance hall for plant locomotives of the lignite-smoldering power plant Hessen-Frankfurt AG (HEFRAG) was converted into a Catholic church. Services were held in the church for only about 20 years .

After a few years without services, the church was profaned and sold. Since then, extensive modifications and dismantling have been carried out.
