The Catholic Church of St. Vinzenz is located in Lichtenauer Weg in the Hamburg district of Eißendorf . The church is not only a place of worship for the parish , but also serves as the house chapel for the neighboring Catholic residential complex for the elderly.

The type of church building is a round church in a modern architectural style. It is therefore an architectural and church-historical specialty, because in contrast to many other churches, the interior has an undivided, circular floor plan .

On the concrete outer wall of the church which is plastic Portrait of a tree of life represented the hochschlängelt on the wall. In front of it is a real tree, and also a fountain , also a vegetative object.

The Church of St. Vincent was consecrated in 1977 . It does not have a bell tower.

The Church of St. Vinzenz is a branch church of the parish of St. Maria in Hamburg-Harburg . The community belongs to the Archdiocese of Hamburg .

In the immediate vicinity of the church there is a Catholic retirement home with 68 apartments. There also is the Ecumenical Social Station Harburg Wilhelmsburg operated. For a few years there was also an ambulance station of the Maltese Aid Service .
