The UZB - Debreczen was a tender locomotive of the Hungarian Central Railway (UZB) Austria-Hungary .

The locomotive was bought by the UZB at the same time as the Pest to Pozsony locomotives in 1846, making it one of the very first Hungarian locomotives. The "DEBRECZEN" was originally procured in 1842 by the kk Nördliche Staatsbahn from Meyer in Mulhouse as a construction locomotive before it came to the UZB.

The 1A1 locomotive had an outer frame, inner cylinder, a cranked axle and fork controls. With its low output of 22 kW, the supplier actually designed it as a passenger locomotive that was supposed to move light trains quickly. It is likely to have been a foreign body in the UZB's locomotive park because of its different structure.

When the UZB merged with the kk southeastern state railway (SöStB) in 1850 , the locomotive was given the operating number 1. When the SöStB was then sold to the Staats-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (StEG) in 1855 , it received the same operating number there. The single piece was retired in 1860.
