The StEG tender baggage cars were a series of tenders operated by the Staats-Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft (StEG), a private Austrian-Hungarian railway company .
The StEG procured these special tenders when it became clear that the stocks on the Engerth locomotives StEG I 500–503, which were decreasing in the course of operation, were contrary to the intended operation on the Steyerdorfer Montanbahn .
These two-axle tenders could not only carry water and coal, but also had their own space for luggage storage.
The vehicles were only used together with the StEG I 500–503 locomotives .
