St Quivox is a hamlet in the Scottish council area of South Ayrshire . It is located in the north of the region about three kilometers east of Prestwick . The River Ayr runs about 1.5 km southeast .

The hamlet consists of only a few houses. The center is the St Quivox Parish Church . Alan Cathcart, 4th Lord Cathcart had it built in 1595. By the early 13th century at the latest, however, there was a previous structure at the same location. Like the adjacent Campbell Mausoleum , the church building is classified as a monument of the highest category A. There is also an agricultural research facility in the hamlet of Auchincruive to the east .

While only 89 residents were counted in St Quivox in 1961, the population had risen to 110 by 1971.

St Quivox is located directly on the B7035, which joins the B743 at Auchincruive. In the northwest, it connects the village to the A77 . Glasgow Prestwick International Airport is one mile to the northwest.

Formerly St Quivox had its own station on the Ayr – Mauchline railway . However, this has since been abandoned.
