The Stadio Quercia is a football stadium with an eight-lane athletics facility in the northern Italian city of Rovereto in Trentino , which is used for the home games of the FC Rovereto football club . In addition, other sporting events are held there. Every year, the US Quercia Rovereto sports club organizes the international athletics meeting Palio Città della Quercia in the stadium and the Cross della Vallagarina cross-country run, which ends in the Stadio Quercia.
Characteristics
The facility is located directly on Brennerstaatsstraße about 700 m north of the Rovereto station of the Brennerbahn and houses two longitudinal stands, of which the main stand is covered. This is intended for the fans of FC Rovereto, while the back straight is reserved for the visiting fans. There are a total of 3,519 places. In the main stand are the service areas such as the changing rooms, toilets for visitors and bars . It also has a fitness studio (16 × 9.60 m). The athletics facility was renewed in 2009 and is equipped with a double long jump facility as well as a high and pole vault facility. Directly behind the north curve there is a training area measuring 90 × 45 m, which is covered with artificial turf . In addition, the venue has a floodlight system with a maximum illuminance of 1,300 lux .
