Standard Ethics is a rating agency with headquarters in London and Brussels that specializes in sustainability . The company evaluates other companies with regard to corporate social responsibility , ethical investment and corporate governance on the basis of guidelines of the United Nations , the OECD and the EU .

rating

The Standard Ethic Rating is a sustainability rating (SSR - Solicited Sustainability Rating) that a company can request upon request. The rating system is intended to provide information on the conformity of sovereign nations in the field of sustainability and corporate social responsibility with guidelines of the United Nations , the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the European Union .

The methodological approach is based on research carried out in 2001 by the Agenzia Europea d'Investimenti (AEI), a holding company that is geared towards sustainable engagement. In the years that followed, this developed into an independent institution, after being broken down in 2003.

As of 2002, Standard Ethics ratings have been expressed in the following eight "grades": EEE; EEE-; EE +; EE; EE-; E +; E; E-.

Where:

  • EEE : above average
  • EE : average
  • E : below average

The countries and companies that do not adhere to the values specified by the UN are not rated and are listed among the "suspended" exhibitors.

Standard Ethics uses an analysis-driven assessment process so that the work to be carried out does not require the applicant to fill out forms or create other documents and further information.
