Stanislaw Karczewski
Stanisław Karczewski (born November 14, 1955 in Warsaw ) is a Polish national-conservative politician of the PiS and physician. From 2015 to 2019 Karczewski was Senate Marshal .
Karczewski graduated from the Warsaw Medical Academy in 1981 and became a specialist in general surgery in 1993 . He is a senior physician in the city hospital in Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą and temporarily served as director.
In 1989 he became a member of NSZZ Solidarność and in 2003 he joined the PiS party. He has represented the Radom constituency as a senator since 2005 and was Deputy Senate Marshal from 2011 to 2015 and then Senate Marshal until 2019.
