Adam Krzysztof Struzik (born January 1, 1957 in Kutno ) is a Polish politician of the Polish People's Party . The doctor and health manager was Senate Marshal from 1993 to 1997 and has been Voivodeship Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship since 2001 .

Struzik completed his medical studies at the Medical Academy in Łódź in the field of internal medicine and two postgraduate courses in health care economics and public administration at the University of Warsaw . From 1990 to 1997 he was the director of the Voivodeship Hospital in Płock . Struzik was since 1984 member of the block party United People's Party , and since 1990 its successor party Polish People's Party . From 1991 to 2001 he was a member of the Senate of the Republic of Poland for three legislative periods , of which he was chairman from 1993 to 1997. He is also a board member in the Association of Voluntary Fire Brigades in Poland .

In 2004 he received the Knight's Cross and in 2010 the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta . Furthermore, in 1996 he became Grand Officer of the French Ordre national du Mérite and was awarded the Greek Order of Honor . In 2009 he became commander of the Belgian Order of the Leopold .
