Stanislaus von Dönhoff

Stanislaus Graf von Dönhoff (born July 17, 1862 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † January 24, 1929 ibid) was a German civil registrar, administrative lawyer and court official.

Life

Stanislaus von Dönhoff was the son of the district administrator and Geh. Government councilor Emil Graf von Dönhoff and his second wife Marie geb. Countess von Schwerin from the Wildenhof family. After attending grammar school in Königsberg, he enrolled at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität for law and camera studies. In 1883 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . As an inactive he moved to the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität zu Berlin . After receiving his doctorate, he became a Dr. jur. into the civil service and became a government assessor with the government in Königsberg . From 1897 to 1908 he was district administrator of the Groß Wartenberg district in Silesia . He was the Royal Prussian Chamberlain , Lord of the Skandau Lordship in the Gerdauen district and Chairman of the Association of East Prussian Forest Owners. He was unmarried and died at the age of 66.
