Stanislav Hočevar
Stanislav Hočevar SDB (born November 12, 1945 in Jelendol , Novo mesto ) is a religious priest and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Belgrade .
He entered the religious community of the Salesians of Don Bosco and was ordained a priest on June 29, 1973. On 25 March 2000 Pope appointed him John Paul II. To Coadjutor Archbishop of Belgrade-Smederevo. He received his episcopal ordination on May 24th of the same year in Ljubljana . On March 31, 2001, he succeeded Franc Perko as Archbishop of Belgrade.
Hocevar was chairman of the International Bishops' Conference of Saints Cyril and Methodius 2004-2011. His successor is Zef Gashi , Archbishop of Bar .
