The Erzbistum Belgrade ( lat. : Archidioecesis Belogradensis ) is in Serbia preferred Roman Catholic Archdiocese based in Belgrade .

history

The Archdiocese of Belgrade was established as the Diocese of Belgrade in the 9th century . On October 29, 1924, the diocese of Belgrade was by Pope Pius XI. raised to the archbishopric. The Archdiocese of Belgrade became the metropolitan seat on December 16, 1986 .
