The Bistum Subotica ( lat. : Dioecesis Suboticanus ) is in Serbia preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Subotica .

history

The Diocese of Subotica was founded on February 10, 1923 by Pope Pius XI. established as the Apostolic Administration of Yugoslavia . On January 25, 1968, the Apostolic Administration of Yugoslavia by Pope Paul VI. raised to the diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Praeclarissima Pauli . It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Belgrade as a suffragan .
