Stanley Burleson

Stanley Burleson (born September 1, 1966 in Zaandam ) is a Dutch (musical) dancer, singer, choreographer and actor.

Life

Burleson has choreographed a variety of theater and television programs, including Karin Bloemen's feature films and Paul de Leeuw Movie! choreographed. He co-designed the choreography of the musical theater production Nilsson starring Bill van Dijk . He was the director and choreographer of the ABBA musical Dancing Queens. As a choreographer, singer, dancer and presenter, he was jointly responsible for the Millennium Show on the Dam in Amsterdam on December 31, 1999. In February 2000, he gave the choreography of No Goodbyes to Linda Wagenmakers , the winning number of the National Song Festival in Ahoy Rotterdam. On May 13, 2000 he was again responsible for the staging of this song at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm . In 2000 he was responsible for the direction and choreography of the musical Tango Valentino and the choreography of the musical Boyband and Diana.

Burleson has also been responsible for a number of years composing, staging, and choreographing Musicals in Concert, Musicals in Ahoy 'and the Musical Awards Gala. In 2008 Stanley won a John Kraaijkamp Musical Award for his choreography for Ciske de Rat - the musical. He then choreographed Sunset Boulevard and Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (collaboration) himself. He and his partner John are nominated for the Kraaijkamp Musical Award for the choreography of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Burleson gave dance lessons at Barry Stevens Dance Unlimited, Amsterdam Dance Center, Studio Tendenza in Wormerveer , Brian Rogers and dance training in England. He will provide the fixed choreography for the annual Musical Gala.
