Stanley Moss
Stanley Moss (born June 21, 1925 in Woodhaven, Queens , New York City ) is an American poet , publisher and art dealer .
Life
Moss attended Trinity College and Yale University . His first volume of poetry was published in 1966. In 1977, Moss founded Sheep Meadow Press , a non-profit publishing company that focuses on the publication of works of poetry and the fine arts. Special emphasis is placed on the publication of foreign poets in translations. Moss mainly earns his living as an art dealer for Old Masters from Spain and Italy . He lives in Riverdale and Clinton Corners, New York State .
