The Staufenkopf is a 1038.2  m above sea level. NHN high mountain in the southern Black Forest west of Staufen near Grafenhausen in the Baden-Württemberg district of Waldshut . The Schwarzatalsperre is located in the southwest of the Staufenkopf . On the summit of the Staufenkopf there is a telecommunications tower made of reinforced concrete. The Staufenkopf represents the highest point of a mountain range called Brendener Berg .
