The Steavenson River is a river about 20 kilometers long in the middle of the Australian state of Victoria .
It rises on the northern slopes of Mount Edgar north of the central part of the Yarra Ranges National Park and flows north. South of the small town of Marysville it forms the Steavensons Falls , waterfalls worth seeing. North of Buxton it flows into the Acheron River .
