Stefan Bear

Stefan Bär (born September 14, 1963 in Herbolzheim ) is the district administrator of the Tuttlingen district .

education and profession

Bär grew up in the Heimbach district of Teningen . After graduating from high school in Kenzingen , he completed an apprenticeship in high-level administrative service from 1984 to 1986 at the city of Emmendingen , which he completed in 1988 at the Kehl University of Applied Sciences as a graduate in administration . From 1988 to 1990 he was deputy head of the main office of the city of Neuenbürg and from 1990 head of the municipality of Bodman-Ludwigshafen .

Political career

In February 1994 Bär was elected as one of five candidates in the first ballot for mayor of the city of Fridingen an der Donau . On March 15, 2012, he was elected by the district council in the first ballot with 24 of 46 valid votes cast to the district administrator of the Tuttlingen district and was able to prevail against the first district official of the Zollernalb district Matthias Frankenberg. On January 30, 2020, Bär was re-elected for a second term.

Other offices

In his function as district administrator, Bär is also chairman of the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse Tuttlingen .

Private

Bär lives in Fridingen, is married and has two children. Already in his hometown Heimbach he was engaged as a clarinetist at the local music association and played soccer in SV Heimbach. Today he is an active member of the Stadtkapelle Fridingen and plays part of the AH football team of FC Bodman-Ludwigshafen.
