Stefan Gaffory

Stefan Gaffory (* 1973 in Landau in the Palatinate ) is a German-Corsican writer , music journalist , blogger and radio presenter.

In addition to his learned profession as a geriatric nurse, Gaffory also worked as an unskilled worker and undertaker . In 2008 he published his debut novel Kreisklassenhölle , in 2012 the graphic novel Der Katzenkönig in collaboration with the illustrator Daniel Prohart . In 2016, Gaffory published Woe, du nicht über den Nits, a collection of his blog entries, concert reports , record reviews and essays on the topics of pop culture and music, to which Albert Koch and Dirk Bernemann each contributed a foreword. In addition, he regularly writes short stories that he presents at readings. Gaffory has been a columnist and reviewer for the music magazine Ox-Fanzine since 2010 , for which he wrote a multi-part essay on Iggy Pop's complete works . In his program "Radio Bronkowitz" on the Karlsruhe radio station Querfunk , Gaffory presents music from the styles of punk, funk, metal, hip-hop, blues and jazz with changing guests.
