Stefan Gartenmann

Stefan Gartenmann (born February 2, 1997 ) is a Danish football player . He has been under contract with the first division club SønderjyskE since 2017 . Since 2012 he has also been playing for Danish junior national teams.

Career

In 2013, Stefan Gartenmann moved from FC Roskilde to the Netherlands for SC Heerenveen and initially played in the Frisian youth teams. On August 24, 2015 Gartenmann completed his first game for the reserves of sc Heerenveen in a 2-0 win in the “Beloften Eredivisie” against ADO Den Haag (second substitute). On September 14, 2015 he scored his first goal for the second team of SC Heerenveen in a 1-1 draw against the second team of PEC Zwolle with the goal to the final score.

Gartenmann returned to Denmark for the 2017/18 season and joined the first division club SønderjyskE . His contract runs until 2020. On August 7, 2017, he made his professional debut when he came on for Troels Kløve in the 3-0 win on matchday two of the regular season against Aarhus GF shortly before the end . He scored his first goal for SønderjyskE on November 28, 2017 in a 4-1 win in the round of 16 of the Danish cup competition against third division club Jammerbugt FC.

National team

On October 2, 2012, Gartenmann played for the Danish U-16 national team for the first time in a 4-2 win in the test match in Lhota / Kladno against the Czech Republic. He was used in nine games for this age group. On August 5, 2013, he completed his first of eleven games for the Danish U-17 national team in a 4-0 win during a tournament in Norway against Sweden. After he was not used in the U-18, Gartenmann finally completed his first game for the Danish U-19 national team on September 4, 2014 in a 2-1 victory in the friendly against Norway in Lyngdal . In this game he scored his first goal for this age group with the goal to 2-0. The qualification for the U-19 European Championship 2016 in Azerbaijan was missed; Gartenmann played his last game on November 15, 2015 in a goalless draw in the European Championship qualifier against Israel in Hamrum , Malta . On October 7, 2017, Gartenmann played his last of six games for the Danish U-20s, in a 2-2 friendly against Sweden in Södra Sandby .
