Stefan Höfel

Stefan Höfel (* 1983 in Bregenz ) is an Austrian music journalist , presenter , music producer , musicologist , music manager and arranger .

Career

He studied musicology at the University of Vienna and currently lives in Vienna .

Since 2016 he has worked as an editor , presenter and producer for Ö1 and presents programs such as Intrada, Zeit-Ton and the Ö1 concert. Since 2010 he has worked as an editor, presenter and producer for ORF Vorarlberg . Among other things, for the programs Culture after 6 and Concert on Sunday.

As a manager, he was in charge of the band holstuonarmusigbigbandclub (hmbc) from 2010 to 2017 , which has received, among other things, an Amadeus Austrian Music Award and a Gold Award.

Höfel works both for ORF and as a freelance music producer and has collaborated with artists such as Georges Pretre , Kirill Petrenko , the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony , among others .

Höfel has edited various ORF TV productions as editor and assistant director . Including the opening of the Bregenz Festival , Advent in Vorarlberg, spring in Vorarlberg, beatification of Carl Lampert.
