Stefan Habas (born April 21, 1971 in Zakopane ) is a former Polish Nordic combined athlete and ski jumper . He was four times Polish champion in combination.

Career

Habas, who started his career at LKS Poroniec Poronin , started most of his career for WKS Legia Zakopane .

Habas took part in the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville and finished 25th in the individual competition using the Gundersen method . In the 1994/95 season he took part in the B World Cup for the first time, but he could only achieve rear placements. In 1995 he was the first Polish champion in Nordic combined. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim in 1997 , he finished 54th in the individual.

Habas also took part in ski jumping competitions. However, he could neither qualify for a World Cup competition nor score points in the second-rate Continental Cup . At the ski jumping championships in Poland, however, he was able to achieve success. In 1993 he was third on the normal hill in Szczyrk . In addition, he finished second in the team and third again.
