Stefan Magnus Heggelund (born October 8, 1984 in Lørenskog ) is a Norwegian politician of the conservative Høyre party . He has been a member of parliament in Storting since 2013 .

Life

From 2000 to 2003, Heggelund attended the Hartvig-Nissen School in Oslo . He graduated from Handelshøyskolen BI with a bachelor's degree in management. From 2005 to 2006 he headed the youth organization Unge Høyre (UH) in Oslo. Between 2009 and 2013 he worked as a communications consultant in various positions. Heggelund was a member of the Oslo City Council from 2011 to 2013.

Heggelund entered the Norwegian national parliament in Storting for the first time in the 2013 general election . There he represents the constituency of Oslo and he was initially a member of the labor and social committee. After the 2017 election , he moved to the Energy and Environment Committee, where he became second deputy chairman in January 2020.

Private

In 2012 it became known that Heggelund was in a relationship with Hadia Tajik , then Minister of Culture from the Arbeiderpartiet . The two married in June 2014 and announced their separation in February 2016.
