Stefan Nacke (born January 27, 1976 in Münster - Hiltrup ) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). He has been a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia since June 1, 2017 .

Life

Nacke studied philosophy, Roman Catholic theology and Christian social sciences at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . He then studied sociology at Bielefeld University . In 2009 he was there with his work The Church of the World Society. The Second Vatican Council and the Globalization of Catholicism. to the Dr. phil. PhD.

Nacke joined the CDU in 1998. From 1998 to 2002 he was deputy chairman of the CDA district association in Münster. From 2008 to 2009 Nacke was General Secretary of the Federation of Catholic Family Associations in Europe. He worked as the head of the “Politics, Economics and Social Affairs” department in the Episcopal Vicariate General in Essen and as a scientific advisor to Bishop Franz-Josef Overbeck . Since June 2017 the employment relationship has been suspended due to the election to the state parliament.

From 2015 to 2017 Nacke was technical member of the study commission "Future of Family Policy in NRW" of North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament.

In 2017 he received the direct mandate for the state electoral district of Münster II to move into the state parliament. There Stefan Nacke is a full member of the Committee for Culture and Media and the Science Committee. He is also deputy chairman of the committee for culture and media and chairman of the inquiry committee “Subsidiarity and Participation. To strengthen (parliamentary) democracy in the federal system from a North Rhine-Westphalian perspective ”. Nacke is a member of the Board of Trustees for the House of History in North Rhine-Westphalia and the Board of Trustees of the Johannes Rau Research Association. Since July 2019, Stefan Nacke has been the spokesman for science policy for the CDU parliamentary group and is a member of the CDU's federal technical committee "Social Cohesion".

Nacke was elected chairman of the Kolping Society of North Rhine-Westphalia on July 8, 2017 . From 2017 to 2019 he was chairman of the state association of adult education centers in North Rhine-Westphalia. Since 2018 Nacke has also been chairman of Domfreunde Münster eV

Nacke is married and has a son.
