Stefan Riederer (born December 26, 1985 in Cham ) is a German soccer player . The goalkeeper has been under contract with 1. FC Bad Kötzting since August 2014 .

Career

Riederer played in his youth for FC Chamerau and 1. FC Bad Kötzting . In the 2005/06 season he was the goalkeeper of the Kötztinger team in the then fourth-class Bayernliga .

For the 2006/07 season he moved to the then second division team SpVgg Unterhaching, where he was substitute goalkeeper for two seasons behind Philipp Heerwagen and Darius Kampa . During this time, Riederer only played competitive games in the second team of SpVgg.

In the 2008/09 season, the native of Upper Palatinate was active for the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the Regionalliga West . In the summer of 2009 Riederer returned to Unterhaching and celebrated his professional debut on matchday 37 of the 2009/10 season in a 3-1 away defeat against VfB Stuttgart II. In the following season he couldn't get past regular goalkeeper Darius Kampa , after his departure in summer 2011, Riederer became No. 1 in the Hachinger Tor under coach Heiko Herrlich .

In the summer of 2013, Stefan Riederer switched to the league competitor Chemnitzer FC . There he could not prevail against Philipp Pentke , whereupon he left the club after a year.
