Stefan Simon (lawyer)
Stefan Simon (born September 12, 1969 ) is a German lawyer and tax advisor . Since August 1, 2020, he has been a member of the Deutsche Bank Management Board .
Life
Simon is married to a Swiss woman and has four children. He lives in Switzerland.
Career
Simon was admitted to the bar on June 20, 1997 and was a partner at the Bonn law firm Flick Gocke Schaumburg until 2016 . Allegations by Willi Balz during this time that Simon was pursuing his own interests as a lawyer in connection with the Windreich GmbH insolvency proceedings were inconsequential.
Since August 1, 2020, he has been Chief Administrative Officer of Deutsche Bank and is responsible for relations with the regulatory authorities and the legal department. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank since August 2016 and headed its Integrity Committee.
Simon has been teaching as an honorary professor at the University of Cologne since 2008 .
